วิธีที่1 ใช้http://keepvid.com/ ใส่ URL ของหน้าเว็บ clip หรือ video youtube ที่ต้องการ เข้าไปที่ http://keepvid.com/

วิธีที่2 ใช้โปรแกรม IDM (Internet Download Manager)
โหลดโปรแกรม http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/download.html
วิธีที่3 ใช้การเติม kick เข้าไปข้างหน้า url
1. ให้ค้นหาวีดีโอคลิปที่ต้องการ เมื่อเจอแล้ว ให้ไปดูที่ URL Address ของ วีดีโอนั้น เช่น http://www.youtube.com/xxxxxxx
2. ให้เพิ่มคำว่า kick ไปที่หน้าคำว่า youtube ใน URL Address เช่น http://www.kickyoutube.com/xxxxxxx
3. มันจะวิ่งมามาเว็บของ kickyoutube เพื่อทำการ save file
4. ให้เลือกประเภทไฟล์ที่ต้องการว่าจะ save ไว้ในรูปแบบ format ไหน เช่น FLV
จากแถบเมนูที่ปรากฏขึ้นมาใหม่ จะมีรูปแบบไฟล์ให้เราเลือก ว่าต้องการโหลดคลิป ในรูปแบบไฟล์อะไร ซึ่งมีให้เลือกตั้งแต่ FLV, MP4, HD, AVI, MPG, 3GP, IPHONE, PSP, MP3, OGG และ GIF ซึ่งช่วยให้เรานำไปใช้ได้ทันที ไม่ต้องเสียเวลา ไปหาโปรแกรมแปลงไฟล์อีก
5. ให้คลิกที่ ปุ่มเขียวๆ ที่มีคำว่า GO ซึ่งอยู่ด้านขวาสุด แล้ว ปุ่ม Down จะปรากฎขึ้น ให้คลิกขวา แล้วเลือก save link as
หรือ รอสักครู่หนึ่ง ปุ่มสีเขียวที่มีคำว่า GO จะเปลี่ยนเป็นสีน้ำเงิน มีคำว่า DOWN ให้คลิกขวาที่ปุ่ม DOWN ดังกล่าว เพื่อ Save ไฟล์
ถ้าใช้เบราเซอร์เป็น Opera เมื่อคลิกขวาที่ปุ่ม DOWN ก็จะมีเมนู เลือกเป็น Save to Download Folder (ถ้าใช้ IE ก็น่าจะเป็น Save Target as…)
6. จะมีหน้าต่างขึ้นมาถามว่าคุณจะ save file ชื่ออะไร และ เก็บไว้ที่ไหน คุณก็ทำกันตามสะดวกเลย ตรงนี้น่าจะทำเป็นกันทุกคนอยู่แล้ว
เราก็แค่เลือกว่า จะ Save ไว้ที่ไหน หรือจะเปลี่ยนชื่อไฟล์ก็ได้ รอสักครู่ เราก็จะได้คลิปที่เราต้องการ มาอยู่ในเครื่องของเรา
วิธีที่4 ใช้โปรแกรม Youtube Downloader
โดยหลักการเราเพียงแต่ก็อปปี้เอาURLคลิปวีดีโอของยูทูปมาแปะ แล้วคลิกปุ่ม OK แค่นี้เราก็ดาวน์โหลดคลิปจากyoutubeได้แล้วล่ะ หรือ หากต้องการแปลงไฟล์คลิปวีดีโอของYoutube ไปเป็นนามสกุลอื่นก็ให้เลือก Convert video (Pre….. ด้านล่างก็ได้แต่จะช้าหน่อยเพราะต้องใช้เวลาแปลง)
แนะนำ
1. คลิปที่เราคลิกจากหน้ายูปทูป(เค้าเรียกว่าคลิปตรงนี้ว่า Related คลิป) จะมี URL เป็น http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxx&feature=related สังเกตนะว่า URL ของคลิปเหล่านี้จะยาวเฟื้อย โปรแกรม Youtube Downloader จะดาวน์โหลดไม่ได้
วิธีแก้ก็คือ ให้ตัดคำว่า &feature=related ออกจากลิงค์ที่เราก็อปมา ยกตัวอย่าง เช่น
คลิปเดิมเป็น http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxx&feature=related
เมื่อตัด &feature=related ออก
มันก็จะเป็น http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxx ทีนี้เราก็เอาลิงค์นี้ไปใช้ดาวน์โหลดในโปรแกรม Youtube Downloader ได้แล้วล่ะ
2. ถ้าจะให้ดาวน์โหลดได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ เราควรดูคลิปนั้นจบก่อน 1 รอบ (คอมพิวเตอร์จะโหลดไฟล์นั้นเก็บไว้ใน catch ไปด้วย)
